Computer Security Today

by Brent Kirkpatrick

(Date Published: .)

Now that there are millions of computers (cell phones, tablets, cars, and laptops), security must be delivered efficiently.

With millions of electronic devices in our country, there are likely more Internet connected devices than people. Certainly, there are more computers than people to maintain them. So, we must identify hacked computers quickly, efficiently, and with little person-power.

Our approach to computer security must accommodate these economic constraints. The company that does computer security by spending 1 hour per computer manually handling detection of problems will make less money than the company whose team can remotely determine, in minutes, whether a computer is hacked, and then prioritize it for manual recovery.

Intrepid Net Computing does all this and more. For training in our approach, see our Cyber-Police Training.
